The client was arrested on felony drug charges following a serious car accident that required a trip to the hospital. After the indictment, we filed a detailed motion to suppress all evidence by arguing that the search of our client and her subsequent arrest was unlawful. Faced with what seemed inevitable at what would occur at the hearing, the prosecutor dismissed all charges.

The client was arrested on felony drug and firearm charges and was facing significant prison time. After learning what had transpired during the encounter with police, we demanded a probable cause hearing so that we would have an opportunity to question the arresting officer. After a lengthy hearing, the judge agreed with us and determined that multiple constitutional violations had occurred. He dismissed all charges contained in the arrest warrant, and after learning of the hearing, the District Attorney’s Office decided not to formally indict our client.

After reviewing all of the evidence, we decided to advise our client to exercise his constitutional right to have his case decided by a jury of his peers. Following a lengthy jury trial, the jury took less than one hour to acquit our client of all charges.

After an innocent client was charged with the murder of her spouse, The Holloway Law Group worked tirelessly to save her from the mandatory life sentence that applies to murder convictions in Georgia. After years of tireless independent investigation, we were able to convince prosecutors their case was not strong, and as a result, the client, preferring to avoid the uncertainty of a jury trial, was able to enter a plea of "no contest" to a reduced charge of manslaughter. Following a lengthy sentencing hearing, the judge was so impressed with evidence consistent with innocence that the client was only given probation, which is virtually unheard of in a manslaughter case. We later were able to convince the court to terminate the probation after less than four years.
