MURDER

A former Bartow County employee has been indicted on murder charges. Officials say the county truck he was driving collided with a motorcyclist fleeing from police.The indictment alleges Jeff Brooks steered his truck into the path of Tony Hall, who was killed.Brooks told Channel 2’s Tom Jones that he was trying to get out of the way of the chase. Instead, Brooks faces murder charges. With Philip Holloway as his attorney, the jury found him NOT GUILTY of all charges.
