Addison Waid is Of Counsel to Holloway Law Group. Addison is an experienced criminal defense attorney with outstanding credentials as a criminal trial litigator. Addison earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University with a minor in history, where he graduated with honors.
Addison possesses an intimate knowledge and deep understanding of the criminal justice system. Addison is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where he traveled the world on various missions and saw first-hand the many challenges people face on a daily basis. He has long had a passion for criminal law and began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Illinois where he handed thousands of criminal cases ranging from traffic offenses to serious felonies. He is also well versed in both juvenile delinquency cases and matters involving juvenile abuse and neglect.
In Georgia, Addison worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office where he was assigned to the Gang Unit and the Trial Division where he handled thousands of major criminal cases. Addison is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Illinois Bar Association and is authorized to practice law in both states.
